About Us

Who we are

The Edward Betham Friends’ Association is made up of all parents, carers and staff of Edward Betham CE Primary School, as well as friends of the school community who volunteer their time to create fun events for the school community. As parents and carers, you are automatically members of the EBFA. Each year in the Autumn term a committee is elected to plan the activities for the current school year. The committee then meets about every six weeks, or whenever needed, to discuss and organise upcoming events and coordinate helpers. If you would like to know more about our committee, do come along to one of our meetings. You are welcome any time!

How to help

There are numerous ways of supporting the EBFA. You needn’t be around to support us! There is lots you can do from home. We rely entirely on your voluntary commitment. All of us who have helped find that getting involved one way or the other will bring you not only closer to the school but also to your children, with whom you can share the school experience. Even if you can’t commit to volunteering there are other ways that we would appreciate your support:
